What we collect, why, and what you can delete. The short version: your characters and worlds are private by default, and you can remove them.
What we collect
Your email and password hash. Photos and videos you upload. The characters you create and the settings you give them. Your worlds, and the memories extracted from them. Usage counts, for quota and billing.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Who sees your worlds
By default, nobody at YOUHERE. Support and admin staff cannot read private worlds as a matter of routine access.
There are three exceptions, each of which is logged with who looked and why: you report something, an automated safety check flags content for human review, or we are legally required to look.
Memory is yours to control
Characters remember things about you — that is the product. You can see every memory, edit it, delete individual entries, turn memory off for a character, or say 'do not remember this world'.
Deleting a memory deletes its vector index too, not just the row you can see.
Where your data lives
On servers in Singapore. Uploaded media is stored with private access and served through short-lived signed links, not public URLs.
To generate a response, we send the relevant part of your world to a model provider. We send what is needed for that turn, not your whole history.
Deleting your data
Settings has an export and a delete. Delete removes your account, characters, worlds, memories, media, and vector indexes, and propagates to backups on the normal rotation.
We keep the minimum billing records the law requires. Those contain amounts and dates, not world content.
GDPR and CCPA
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion. Write to privacy@youhere.live and we will respond within 30 days.
We do not sell personal information.
